The Housing Authority of Hartsville is committed to providing quality, affordable housing that is decent and safe, to eligible families in this community in a nondiscriminatory manner. We strive to make the best use of all available resources so that our residents may live in an environment that is clean, well-maintained and attractive.
The Hartsville Housing Authority is a Public Housing Agency that provides housing for low-income families. The Hartsville Housing Authority has a total of 100 subsidized affordable housing units and administers a total of 210 Section 8 Vouchers. The Section 8 Voucher program provides rental assistance to low-income families who live in privately-owned rental properties.
